Once you get down at the airport, our tour guide will welcome you warmly to Sri Lanka, to the splendid land where your adventure is all set to begin. Afterwards, he will accompany you to the hotel where you will spend the overnight stay. Once you check-in and relax, you can also engage in a tour of the Colombo city where you will be able to witness the urban life of the island and do some shopping as your preference.

Next day, early in the morning you will be headed to the sacred city of Anuradhapura, which is identified to be the first ever kingdom of ancient Sri Lanka. An assortment of architectural and archaeological wonders awaits you there. Gigantic dagobas, statues and historic temples are a customary sight of this city and most importantly, Anuradhapura is a UNESCO world heritage site.

En route to Anuradhapura, you will also be able to visit the Wilpattu National park. The significance of this park is the availability of “Willus”, which stand for natural lakes. In addition, a range of endemic and vital flora and fauna are found within this terrain. A safari through the park may bring you closer to the beauty of the exotic nature.

The next destination will be Sigiriya, yet another UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is ancient rock fortress situated near the town of Dambulla in the Central Province. The ancient architectural wit, giant ponds, frescoes, mirror wall are particular attractions you will be able to witness here. The hike is a mild toil and therefore the summit can be reached by little effort through some flight of stairs. At the top, a lavish view of the surrounding can be seen.
The next day is allocated for visiting one of the most venerated locations of the sacred city of Kandy which is the Temple of the Tooth Relic. It is a Buddhist temple and is situated in the royal palace complex of the past Kingdom of Kandy, which houses the relic of the tooth of the Buddha. The tranquility of the setting may let peace and serenity dawn within you.
Afterwards, you will be headed to Nuwaraeliya. Nuwaraeliya consists of mild climatic conditions and lush greenery of huge trees and tea estates. Early in the morning, you will be escorted to Horton plains, a national park of Sri Lanka situated in the central highlands which is also a UNESCO world heritage site. The mild weather and the beauty of nature in its purest form are sure to charm you. The typical mammals, large herds of Sri Lankan sambar deer, can be witnessed here and the park is also a vital bird area with various species not only endemic to Sri Lanka but restricted to the Horton Plains. Amongst the numerous flora and fauna, water ways and falls, World’s end is yet another attraction which will entice you.

Ella is a small town in the Badulla district. It is not yet swept by the waves of urbanization but is definitely a destination adapted for tourism. There is a huge chance that you will be able to find anything there. Despite the mild weather and the calmness of the town, Ella rock hike is a must for any adventure and nature lover. At the top, a gorgeous view of the surrounding can be seen and also it is an ideal place to watch the sunrise.

If you are an adventure seeker, you may climb Mini Adam’s peak too which is in the vicinity of the Ella rock, which also offers breath-taking views of huge mountains and the surrounding. You can also click some awesome photos there. Most importantly, you have the option of choosing either a hike to Ella rock or Mini Adam’s peak; both ensure an unforgettable experience.
